Crikey +1Aaron Spelling would have been livid by the choice of Shenae Grimes for actress for this role. This lady cant act for s@#t!!! I have always been a dedicated 90210 fan and have watched every episode of the original series when I was younger. Gotta give Jennie Garth and Shannon Doherty credit, their performances are still awesome, even Ann Gillespie still has it, but this choice of Shenae Grimes for lead they need their heads read. She is so fake, her actings appalling, you don't believe a word that comes out of her mouth and her stupid little giggles like shes trying to be nice grrr, its like someone scraping their nails down the blackboard. I just hope Tori comes back and has some say in this, seeing it was her Dads show Shenae is destroying and throws her ass right out of there before the show ends up as another failed remake because I sure can't bear the thought of watching much more of her.

... “More than just a famous zip code, 90210 is easily the most hyped show of the fall season and the CW is banking on all of the buzz to draw in big ratings. This spinoff, eight years after the first series ended, is a pallid copy of the original fish out of water story only with shinier cars, fancier clothes and Botox aplenty.” — Variety ...

90210annie With the dawn of "90210," we are off and running with the 2008-09 television season. It's been noted a few million times in the past week or so in the preamble coverage that this campaign is a crucial one for the two-year-old CW, but in truth it's a big one for the netlet's older sibs as well. The Big Four have a lot to prove this fall after the strikus interruptus of the '07-'08 campaign. Let's not forget that even when the major nets' big scripted guns returned to the skeds in March and April, viewership was down precipitously for most shows. The biz is holding its collective breath in the hopes that auds will settle back into ...

"The show juggled a lot of storylines last night, maybe too many, but the vibe feels right. "90210" is not a disaster, and the CW can now officially let out a deep sigh ... of relief." Not everyone is ready to move to the "90210." Variety's lead TV critic opted against reviewing via Slingbox and instead lets contributing critic Laura Fries give the paper's take. She wasn't impressed: "This spinoff, ...

Ll90210_2 Reviews are rolling in on the new 90210 , which was not made available to critics before it aired last night: - EW : It's "corny but trying to be hip, crammed with subplots until the producers figure out which ones the audience responds to, and cast with mostly young faces that its network (The CW) prays will become teen idols." - Variety : It's "a pallid copy of the original fish out of water story only with shinier cars, fancier clothes and Botox aplenty." - Hollywood Reporter : It "doesn't embarrass as much as many had feared." - Boston Globe : It was "pretty bad." - Newsday : It's "a perfectly ...
