... This weekend Rogen revealed to MTV that the plot focuses on stand-up comedians. Apatow started doing stand-up his senior year in high school and even opened for Jim Carrey. Hanging around Adam Sandler, he eventually realized that he was better at writing jokes then telling them, and worked for Tom Arnold and Roseanne Barr before co-creating The Ben Stiller Show.
