Now, I’ll admit, the only one of these besides Ugly Betty that are must-see for me is Pushing Daisies (and believe me, ABC does not pay me to say that) . I’m hoping to use the strike downtime to catch up on that one. It is almost as eye-appealingly beautiful, and quirky, as Ugly Betty.
After the goofy snub for the Golden Globes, it’s good to see Ugly Betty get some much deserved recognition.

... that the movie was sexist. The American Film Institute is a nonprofit organization that works to preserve the legacy and unique culture of American film.
AFI will hold a luncheon to honor Ugly Betty and the rest of the best on January 11, 2008. Scholarships have also been established in the names of all 20 honorees to the AFI Conservatory.
