Last year, there were plenty of duets and trios and group sings. This year, just two group sings and all solo routines otherwise. Given the makeup of season seven, this makes perfect sense though I would have enjoyed a couple of cool duets, too. A thumbs up from the Arizona Republic. Livedaily said it surpassed expectations.
