Pitt who happened to be near the victim was quick to respond, grabbing the fan, preventing him from falling into the lake. He then made sure that the fan was safely back on the boat before signing a book. A throng of paparazzi who swarmed Pitt witnessed the incident. Pitt himself quickly dashed off into the limelight, heading for the red carpet. Pitt's heroine action was first reported by TMZ, which features a footage of the incident on its site.
