For all you fans of House: we have a scoop that might make your day! TV Guide is reporting that a spinoff from Fox's acclaimed show is being quietly developed for next season. A new male character, who'll have a multi-episode storyline, is being introduced and if the actor cast makes the role 'work', then chances are good that said new male will get the 2.0 show! AND, the new character won't be a doc, says well-placed insiders. He's going to be a private investigator! What do y'all think?

BECAUSE, YES, PRETTY GIRLS ARE FUNGIBLE: So, plans are apparently afoot for a House spinoff. Sadly, not Wilson and Amber Move To The Big City or Lisa Cuddy: Rural M.D. or even Someplace Else Finally Hires Foreman, but instead one based on a private eye character to be introduced next season. Given that Shark and Canterbury's Law's attempts to be "House With Lawyers" haven't been resounding successes, I'm not convinced this is a workable idea.
