As far as I'm concerned — and by "I," I mean me and you, too — it sounds win-win. You see, it's much easier to stalk interview BFFs Urie, Ortiz and Becki Newton if they live just a few blocks away as opposed to a few thousand miles. Duh. Source

... Ausiello: ABC and the show's producers keep insisting that she'll be back in a recurring capacity, but that's assuming Romijn will be available. I have a feeling she'll be snapped up in no time by another show. And as far as other big changes on Betty, I think this qualifies. ...

After two years in Los Angeles, production of the popular ABC drama “Ugly Betty” may move to the city in which it is set: New York. A spokeswoman for the program’s producer, ABC Studios, said that no final decision had been made, but media reports said the “Ugly Betty” staff members were informed of the move on Tuesday. TV Guide calls it a “fairly unprecedented move for an established hour drama.” According to Variety, the producers would save money thanks to tax breaks signed into law by David Paterson, the New York governor, last month.
