Legendary comedian George Carlin has passed away at the age of 71 due to hear failure. Carlin was a leader and innovator in the world of stand up comedy for over 40 years. He will be missed be his many fans.
Carlin was best known for his routine “Seven Words You Can Never Say On Television,” which appeared in 1972’s “Class Clown” album.

George Carlin passed away from heart failure yesterday in Los Angeles, he was 71. Publicist Jeff Abraham said Carlin went into St. John's Health Center on Sunday afternoon, complaining of chest pain. Carlin died at 5:55 p.m. PT. George had a history of heart trouble. Carlin performed as recently as last weekend at the Orleans Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas.
