In a pretty shocking move, China is banning horror films in preperation of the Beijing Olympics. I guess that means no more films like A Chinese Ghost Story (pictured left) any more. The Center Seat — The Chinese are moving to ban horror movies??? Really??? I found this today on one of my favorite movie blogs, karlhungus.com. OK, we all know I can't bring myself to sit through a horror movie, but that's a personal preference. To ban them entirely-- ugh, I can't imagine living under such a repressive regime.
