I am – Hercules!! Sony has hired Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, Emmy-winning writer-producers on the Steve Carell version of "The Office," to script a "Ghostbusters" sequel that would reunite Venkman, Stanz, Spengler and Zeddemore. Harold Ramis, who co-wrote the earlier "Ghostbusters" movies and portrayed mold fetishist Egon Spengler in those comedies, is in post-production on next summer's Jack Black period comedy "Year One," which was directed by Ramis from a screenplay by Ramis, Eisenberg and Stupnitsky. According to Variety , Columbia Pictures is looking to do another installment of the Ghostbusters franchise . The scripts is already in the process of being written, and they’re hoping to bring back all the original Ghostbusters: Harold Ramis, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson. ... is the stumbling block for getting the film going, and that he was never going to return to a live action Ghostbusters, but he would lend his voice to a CGI version. Frankly I don't know why, it's not like his career has taken off in a different direction or anything, sure it's gone another way, but he's not become known as a thespian all of a sudden!
