Rounding the bend toward 2010, what better time to look back at some of the most entertaining, weird, funny and just plain memorable moments from the first 10 years of the 2000s? Our “Best of the ’00s” series will showcase some of the highlights, and lowlights so far this century.
One of the best parts of reality TV is when you get to see a contestant's "real" personality shine through. From the clips below, nothing brought out the "best" in these women faster than fame, love or money. Enjoy 10 of the most memorable catfights caught on camera these past 10 years.
1. Sharon Osbourne vs. Megan Hauserman—"Rock of Love Charm School": The claws came out when Megan called Sharon’s famous hubby “brain dead.” And though entertaining to watch the famous feline lose her cool, the scratches made by Mrs. Osbourne actually resulted in assault charges.
2. Lauren Conrad vs. Heidi Montag—"The Hills": Lauren Conrad’s showed her feisty side way back in the Laguna Beach days, but her on camera spat with The Hills co-star Heidi Montag revealed her truly catty nature.
3. New York vs. Pumpkin—"The Flavor of Love": Flava Flav brings out the best, and worst, in some women. As she's leaving the show Pumpkin and New York get one final scrap in on camera.
4. Omarosa vs. all of her competition—"The Apprentice": Though she did not win, Omorosa is definitely the most famous contestant to ever appear on "The Apprentice" for all the hackles she got up in a house full of women.
5. Heather vs. Daisy—"Rock of Love 2 Reunion Show": Oh Bret, how do we love thee? Well Heather and Daisy were willing to go to blows to prove their affection for you on national TV.
6. "I Love Money" Food Fight: These girls go at it "Animal House" style throwing booze and juice on each other. The fight moves out to the pool and then the waterworks really start.
7. Joe Rogan vs. Victoria and Johnathan—"Fear Factor": Though this particular fight finishes with Mr. Rogan putting a male contestant in a head lock, it was a lady to kicked it off by punching fellow contestant Johnny Fairplay, allowing it to fall in the catfight category.
8. Britney vs. Everybody—"Charm School 3": It's fairly obvious from this clip why these women need the charm school. My favorite part are all the long censor bleeps covering up chains of explicitives.
9. Ne Ne vs. Kim—"The Real Housewives of Atlanta": While this one didn't come to blows, it's always fun to hear spoiled housewives call each other trashy hookers. Can't get any more real than that!
10. "America’s Next Top Model" Riot in New York: This has to be the most massive catfight caught on tape in the history of reality TV. Though this took place outside of any actual episode, it has to be mentioned for the sheer volume of scratching and screaming one open casting caused.
