... who knows how it could all shake down but let’s think about this. I’ve said often a film like this making an Oscar run injects the industry with green in a way it truly needs. If the only two things holding it back are the sequel thing or the comic book thing — those aren’t good enough. Either it’s one of the best of 2008 or it isn’t. Surely there is room in the Oscar race for good films, whether they come from the art house or the IMAX.
