Drew Barrymore is playing in a new movie Grey Gardens as Little Edith Bouvier. The movie is based on the life story of the eccentric aunt and first cousin of Jackie Kennedy, both named Edith Bouvier Beale aka Big and Little Edie . They left New York society and moved to their Long Island Summer house, Grey Gardens breaking their connection with reality. They were rescued and bring back to the real world, eventually. Why did it take me so long to find out about this? HBO picked it up, and it's starring Jessica Lange (Big Edie) and Drew Barrymore (Little Edie). I guess it's revolving around their lives up to the point of the documentary, so Edie will still be in NY. Anyway, here are some pictures of Drew looking lovely... Source. I'm not sure that Drew can tackle the accent, but... who knows. She may surprise us all. I just want to know when this movie is due out, because I read somewhere that HBO wasn't sure on whether they were going to ...
