The brothers Russo are planning to adapt and direct “Ciudad,” a graphic novel they are currently writing with Ande Parks, according to Variety. The story focuses on a hostage extractor who travels to the dangerous Ciudad del Este in Paraguay to rescue a kidnapped victim. Anthony and Joe Russo are writing the graphic novel for Oni Press, while Paramount Pictures will develop the big-screen adaptation.
