Lucy Liu Can't Catch A Break

After " Cashmere Mafia " was canned, Lucy Liu took her wonk eye to " Dirty Sexy Money " and it looks like she's unemployed again. Whenever I get attached to a real show, the network usually sends it off take a permanent dirt nap. Now where will ...

Just seven weeks after its second season debut, ABC’s “Pushing Daisies” has been canceled, reports series executive producer Bryan Fuller. I’m extremely disappointed by this news as “Daisies” had become my favorite new show from last season for its Roald Dahl-like stories and Tim Burton-esque settings.
Fuller is taking it better than I am, as he told E!:
“To be honest,” Fuller tells me, “I’m really not feeling very ...

... after only seven episodes. But like her Kill Bill character, 39-year-old Liu (she'll be 40 on December 2) landed on her feet, doing battle as Nola Lyons in another ABC show about sin and status—Dirty Sexy Money . Unfortunately, it's taken less than ten episodes for Lucy's terrible curse to catch up with DSM . ABC has confirmed to E! Online that they will not be renewing the series. Maybe costars Donald Sutherland, Peter Krause and Jill Calyburgh—seasoned professionals all—have the same flaw as Lucy Liu. They are just too damned good for their own sake. Share a ...
