John Edwards is dropping out of the running for his bid to be the next President of the United States of America.
The two time presidential hopeful will make the announcement at a 1 p.m. EST today at an event in New Orleans.
The Democratic race is now really just between Barack and Hillary . Edwards is not expected to immediately endorse one of the other candidates.
