Exclusive: NBC may move up ‘Chuck’ launch
It’s good news (for me), bad news (for NBC): Since its numbers are down and its new shows are mainly DOA (Southland was axed before it even aired!), Chuck’s third season might get to premiere sooner than the March date that’s been bandied about thus far. “How much ...

Fresh CHUCK Back On NBC In A Few Weeks??
Ain't It Cool News - The best in movie, TV, DVD, and comic book news. — ... until March at the earliest, may now be back with new episodes by the end of this month, according to Mike Ausiello over at Entertainment Weekly. With veteran shows like “Law & Order” and “Heroes” bleeding viewers and no new hits, the move to bring “Chuck” back to NBC early would seen a no-brainer. "Chuck" has a 13-episode order this season, but of course the earlier air date means the network in perhaps likelier to order more installments. Find all of EW’s exclusive on the matter here . Chuck - NBC May Move Up Premiere Early
Spoiler TV — ... me. And while it remains unclear whether the little show that could (and has and shall again) would return to its Monday timeslot or find itself a new perch, NBC insiders who’ve seen the first four episodes are calling this season the best yet. But wait, there’s more. If Chuck does come back sooner rather than later, the chances of NBC ordering additional episodes beyond the 13 it initially commissioned increases dramatically. NBC To Move Up Return Date of ‘Chuck’
Screen Rant — ... NBC to give Chuck a chance and it looks like the network is going to, in a big bad way. If there’s any possibility of Chuck receiving an additional episode order this season or perhaps another season, the fans have to come out and be counted? Will you be there? I know I will. Right now, Chuck will return in March, but we’ll keep you up to date when/if NBC officially announces any changes. Source: The Ausiello Files You Might Also Be Interested In: NBC ...

Chuck may be back sooner than we thought
TV Squad — ... -- it wasn't really like the other networks, because they had leaked so much information -- one of the things the powers that be decided to do was split the season into two sections. Or two official seasons. It all seemed a bit strange, and now that NBC has gotten off to such a dreadful start, things are changing. One change seems to be that Chuck may be back before March. ...

Is ‘Chuck’ Coming Back Soon?
TEN Gossip — ... But now…News is coming that NBC is doing horrible in the ratings race. Are NBC's Troubles Good News For Chuck? [Chuck]
io9 — ... that much-hyped new medical drama Trauma is next, but also that the network has pretty much given up until the end of the year: The insiders are even going so far as to give up on the rest of the primetime schedule for their network. "There's nothing watchable the rest of the year." Even midseason and spring of 2010? "Nothing watchable the rest of the season," I'm told. According to Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello, however, this is good news for fans of Chuck: ...Chuck's third season ...

Good news for 'Modern Family' and 'Dollhouse'; possible good news for 'Chuck' and 'Southland'
The Watcher — ... Rumors are swirling that "Chuck" could come back before its planned March return, especially if "Trauma" continues to do badly in the ratings. I am not at all sure it's a good idea for NBC to bring the show back in late October (this EW story suggests that there's a chance that may happen). According to a story in The Wrap, even NBC insiders realize that's not enough time to give the show the promotion it needs. But I tend to think that waiting until March isn't a necessarily great idea either. The idea is for NBC to use the Olympics to ...

Is "Chuck" returning early?
Armchair Commentary — ... I've been assuming that one of my favorite shows, Chuck, will be starting its third season sometime early in 2010. Now I hear from EW that due to the cancellation of Southland and troubles with other shows, NBC is looking for programming and might bring back Chuck earlier than expected (and this is even with Jay Leno taking up five hours of primetime).  In fact, it could be as early as this month, though one of the concerns is getting out word to fans.  My DVR will find it anyway, but I'm all for ...

Breaking: NBC ups 'Chuck' order
Oh No They Didn't! — ... dream Chuck scenario is starting to take shape! Sources confirm that NBC is close to ordering six additional episodes of Chuck. That’s on top of the 13 eps the network previously ordered, bringing the show’s season 3 total to 19 (just three shy of what’s considered a full season). Ask Ausiello: Spoilers on 'House,' 'Grey's,' 'Mentalist,' 'Smallville,' and more!
Oh No They Didn't! — ... Ausiello: As of today? What the hell took so long? Also, get with the program: Chuck will probably most likely maybe possibly be back in January. I usually don’t reward procrastination and ignorance with red hot scoop but I’ll make an exception just this once. Zach Levi will make his Chuck directorial debut with episode 9, titled “Chuck vs. The Beard” and guest-starring Drew Carey Show grad Diedrich Bader. ...
