ComingSoon.net sits down to talk with Noam Murro and Mark Poirier, the director and writer of the new Miramax dramedy (or "comrama") Smart People starring Dennis Quaid as a crotchety college professor Lawrence Wetherhold who finds his difficult life raising an outspoken teen daughter (Ellen Page), shaken up even more when his adopted brother Chuck (Thomas Haden Church) moves in with them, making it difficult to forge a relationship with his new girlfriend (Sarah Jessica Parker).
