Gothamist — Dennis Farina, two seasons as Detective Joe Fontana on Law & Order, was arrested at LAX Airport when security found a loaded .22-caliber pistol in his briefcase. Oops! TMZ reports that Farina "was apologetic and cooperative" when he explained he had the "gun in his briefcase when he drove from Arizona to L.A. and forgot it was there." Farina also added he was a veteran of the Chicago police force, but that wasn't enough, because the gun was not registered.
