TheHype Self-referential factoid: I was called up to be an extra for this movie (it's being shot/completed in Montreal). But they didn't cater to my list of demands:
- Have a scene with Jet Li where we sing a duet "Leaving on a jet plane"
- Swedish message... performed by Brandan Frasier
- and most importantly, get paid $1 million

Maybe I’m wrong and the idea of Sand Fu will lead to some truly breathtaking fight scenes, but last I checked, Rick O’Connell (Brendan Fraser) couldn’t do marital arts, so we can’t expect something along the lines of Hero or Fearless. ...
