First Look: Josh Brolin as George W. Bush

... Corddry as Ari Fleischer. The film, which began filming late last month in Shreveport, Louisiana, will chronicle the life and presidency of George W. Bush, including as we see from the EW cover, drunk driving, daddy issues and messages from God. And they said that Oliver Stone wouldn’t make a controversial movie…
W is scheduled to release sometime later this year, probably right around election time.

... why would they want to go see a movie about him while he was still in office? And Stone says he is going to make an unbiased, honest portrayal of the man. Naturally, I don’t buy that for a minute. Truly though, the only reason people will see this is because they’ll be curious about the actors’ impersonations. The EW cover there describes W. as being controversial. The only controversy I can think of is why Stone is wasting the time of everyone involved in this. Stupid. Source: /Film
