Ben Kingsley Builds the Taj Mahal

... died during childbirth. Granted, it was their 14th child (no, that isn't a typo), so there's only so much one body can take. Soon after the loss, the Taj Mahal started construction, and it was completed in 1648. Some years after its completion, he fell ill. His son, Aurangzeb led a deathly rebellion, imprisoned him, and it's said that he spent the rest of his life looking at the Taj from his cell. Now we'll have to wait and see if his stint as this Indian figure can rival his work on Ghandi, which nabbed 8 Oscars. ...

Movie Preview: The Love Guru With Meyers, Alba, Timberlake and More
Published 2/29/2008 by BuzzSugar at BuzzSugar -- Entertainment hourly.
Okay, I'm willing to give The Love Guru a huge chance based on the cast alone: Mike Meyers (natch), Romany Malco (Conrad from Weeds !), Justin Timberlake (dressed all funny and bewigged), John Oliver (hilarious British guy from The Daily Show ) and Ben Kingsley (funny because of, you know, his Oscar-winning performance as Ghandi ). Oh, and Jessica Alba's in it too. The new trailer for The Love Guru looks silly in the Austin Powers kind of way, though less charming and less humorous. Still, I have sorely missed Mike Meyers in recent years and it's oddly comforting to see him back in ...
my top 100!

So I decided to sit down and come up with the only top movie list that will ever be perfect. Of course, I'm talking about ...
JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE'S GIANT COCK WALKS INTO A BAR...

[image] Do you like dick jokes? Do you really like dick jokes? Then boy, does Mike Myers have a movie for you. I don't mean to say that there's anything wrong with dick jokes. Fact is, I've enjoyed a dick joke in my day. But there are dick jokes and then there are good dick jokes, and The Love Guru hasn't got too many of the latter. It has some, but only because when you have as many dick jokes as The Love Guru has, simple math dictates that at least a few of them have to work. The Love Guru finds Myers playing the guru Maurice Pitka, an American who traveled to India in the mid-'70s to study on the ...
tMF CONTROVERSIAL: Was E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial really better than eventual Oscar winner Gandhi?
Published 9/10/2008 at The Movie Fanatic Feeds
If you ask IMDb viewers, then the answer is yes. E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial was indeed better than eventual Oscar winner Gandhi. If I remember correctly, our Film Admin Jeremy Welch launched his tMF Top 5 lists with a feature on Best Oscar Losers ...
