I like to think that these pictures are proof of some sort of suicide pact, but I’m naturally optimistic, and am probably setting myself up for disappointment.  No, the sad reality is this is just another staged photo op at a gun club in Beverly Hills.  You can see way more of these over on Pacific Coast News.  In a related story, this is somewhat similar to what my prom picture looked like, except imagine the girl looking way more, "held-against-her-will" like.
