I don't believe in having guilty pleasures. It's a hateful concept, with an awful built-in snobbery, and a dreadful phrase. However, I do believe in odd obsessions. Mine - well one of mine - is Sarah Kennedy on Radio 2. As something of an early riser, I tune in to Sarah after I've endured just about as much as I can stand of the Today programme - which is about 10 minutes.
