Scrat is going back in time, or at least that is the only probable explanation for the third film in the Ice Age series, which is titled ICE AGE: Dawn of the Dinosaurs . That’s right, Dinosaurs! I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died off before the Ice Age which means that, well, something is up. Yorrick Brown on the JoBlo message boards has a photo (seen above) from Showest of 20th Century ...

Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs — Really?
Film School Rejects —
Well, it appears to be a done deal. /film is reporting that a third Ice Age film will be heading to the big screen in 2009, July to be exact, complete with a picture of the official standee. It is carrying th subtitle of Dawn of the Dinosaurs. Makes one wonder just how they are going to manage this one, considering the dinosaurs were a already history by the time the Ice Age occurred. I guess it is time to start coming up with theories as to how Scrat and the rest of the Ice Age gang end up meeting the ...

At “Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who!” this weekend, we saw the Scrat teaser trailer for “Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs,” coming to theaters July 1, 2009. I’ll post as soon as it’s available, but that poor little guy Scrat is STILL after that elusive acorn, and no closer than when he started years ago.

/Film
The first teaser trailer for Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs is attached to Horton Hears a Who , which hit theaters today.
While I’m not a big fan of the Ice Age series, the teaser trailers have always entertained me. Probably because they remind me of the old Looney Toons or Disney shorts. Scrat is a great character, too bad he doesn’t have a good story t live in.

Movie Marketing Madness
According to ComingSoon , the first trailer for Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs will debut this weekend in front of Horton Hears a Who . Both movies come from 20th Century Fox.
The two movies seem to be caught in some sort of loop with each other. Horton is providing a springboard for Ice Age’s marketing now. But the Horton posters and trailers have consistently been branded as ...

Yes, it’s in Russian. But outside of that it’s exactly like the poster that is being displayed in ShoWest, so it will do for now.
Let’s start with the obvious. Dinosaurs? Didn’t the first film happen in an age when dinosaurs where already extinct? Is there some type of time traveling involved in this third outing? Or do they just ...
'Ice Age 3' Has Dinosaurs, Apparently —
I Watch Stuff - The Best Movie News Ever
It's hard to say it much better than Meg, who sent this in: "New poster for Ice Age 3. What the hell?"
What the hell indeed. I only have vague memories of catching part of Ice Age on TV, but I don't remember there being dinosaurs. So they're just adding dinosaurs, now? I'm not saying a cartoon has to be history book-accurate, but come on, at least have some consistency. I'll graciously ...
DUMBING DOWN THE KIDS (UPDATED) —
FilmDrunk.com
(click on thumbnail below to see the poster for the new Ice Age movie, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs ) Kid movies tend to focus on talking animals, so it's a little weird to bash them for historical inaccuracy. But still, some shit is just crossing the line. A movie that came out a few years ago Barnyard comes to mind – I can't remember the name, but it had animated ...
