Alexandra +2He seems like he really doesn't care anyway. He will go him if he keeps giving off that vibe. -
Cynthiab I think it's a shame that someone like Carly was sent home while Jason who obviously doesn't care (Or he's folded under the pressure) was left to perform. Both of his songs tonight were train wrecks. His time has come. -
Alexandra Poor guy...I keep hearing media types saying that he'll probably be more successful than the actual winner.
Who do you think will win? David Cook? I loved his version of "Eleanor Rigby".

From Entertainment Weekly
He made it through Paulagate 2008, but is American Idol’s Jason Castro ready to call it quits? EW’s Jessica Shaw was on the scene as the Idols rehearsed for Neil Diamond week (read her “Why Song Selection Matters” feature in the issue out Friday) and spoke with Castro on Monday afternoon: “I’ll get around to practicing,” he promised her, after noting that his brother and a friend had visited over the weekend and that his Saturday meeting with ...

... amateurs on the show, there'd actually be some competitive spirit and lingering enthusiasm for letting Randy say whether or not they were the bomb.
Things were happier for Jason Castro once. Like when he was dating Cheyenne. That was nice. Please enjoy this clip of a romantic date spent kite-flying and chalk-writing before his band opened one of her concerts (make sure to catch his shirtless drumming, ladies!).

American Idol contestant Jason Castro, on how the show destroys dreams:
What happens happens. I’ll sing and if people like it, they like it. And if they don’t, they don’t. I’m kind of ready to go home. It’s been overwhelming. I got 150 balloons yesterday delivered to the studio because people heard I was sick last week. That’s cool, but that’s just weird.

... 1 I was psyched when David Cook said he was singing Hungry Like the Wolf, as he is damn sexy just like Simon LeBon, but he seemed a bit low on energy and, like Randy, it was just aiight for me. Simon is totally right (as usual). Syesha's Proud Mary WAS a shrieky, horrible Tina Turner impression. It started out okay, but totally fell apart in the second half. Jason Castro is ready to go home. He said as much last week. Let's let him go. Mark my words. When Little ...
