300 Sequel Details
Published 10/2/2008 at Cinema Blend News
300 Sequel Details Score one for the power of alcohol. IESBs Robert Sanchez cornered Zack Snyder in a bar somewhere and we presume, after buying him tequila shots, got him to spill details on whats going on with the sequel to 300 . Snyder opened up and told him all about it. It seems that right now theyre waiting on Frank Miller. Rather than just coming up with any old sequel script, Miller is working on a second graphic novel which, when finished they will use as the basis for another film, the same as they did the first time around. Neither Snyder, nor anyone else ...
300 Prequel/Sequel to be The Battle of Plataea?
Published 10/2/2008 by orfilms@gmail.com (slashfilm.com) at /Film
IESB uncovered new details about Zack Snyder’s 300 sequel/prequel. Apparently the film will take place between the Battle of Thermopylae and the Battle of Plataea. You remember, the battle that Dilios (the narrator) is at during the film’s final monologue. So the film is kinda, sorta, a prequel and a sequel, because it takes place in the one year window, and likely concludes with the Battle we saw at the conclusion of the first film.
According to Wikipedia, The Battle of Plataea was the final major battle of the Greco-Persian Wars in southern Greece. It took place in 479 BC between an alliance ...

He is waiting for Frank Miller to finish the graphic novel that the sequel is based on, then they will start writing the script. And he also said that he wouldn't have any input to the new graphic novel, that he wanted it to be all Miller's creation. While talking to IESB , Snyder commented as to when the sequel would take place. Essentially the film will cover the year between the end of the Battle of Thermopylae, and the start of the Battle of Plataea. That's ...

[image] Thank the goddess Juno and her blessed reproductive organs for this 300 news from IESB.net . Frank Miller is going to be writing and drawing a sequel to 300 that takes place between the one year gap of the Battle of Thermopylae and the Battle of Plataea , the battle that narrator Dilios is at while re-telling the story of King Leonidas and the mighty Spartans to a new group of warriors at the end of 300. As Dilios says, there’s a whole year between Thermopylae and where he currently stands, in his final monologue he states, “And so my king died, and my brothers died, barely a year ago. Now We Know When The New 300 Movie Will Take Place...
Published 10/2/2008 by Merrick at Ain't It Cool News - The best in movie, TV, DVD, and comic book news.
Merrick here... A while back we heard that some sort of follow-up to 300 was being readied by Frank Miller, and that Zack Snyder would return to direct it when it was ready. But...given the ending of the original graphic novel/film...it wasn't clear exactly how this would be accomplished. Would it be a prequel? A sequel? Or, a parallel story (for example, a massive and dazzling naval battle occurred alongside The Battle of Thermopylae - which wasn't incorporated into 300's storyline). IESB got a chance to speak to Snyder about this yesterday (at a WATCHMEN press event), who had this to say: Snyder also said it will take place between the Battle of ...

Ever since the film came out, ...
