First Teaser Trailer for Alex Proyas' Knowing
Published 7/3/2008 by Alex Billington at FirstShowing.net
... ) to the next today. The first teaser trailer for Alex Proyas' Knowing has just arrived online courtesy of IGN and it looks pretty damn interesting. Actually, I think the better way to describe this is might be to call it creepy as hell! This looks like the coincidental numbers movie that The Number 23 should have been and wasn't but with an even more epic twist. Maybe Proyas will actually be the savior of Nic Cage's career? He doesn't actually look bad in this, maybe even going back to his roots. So with the combination of Cage and Proyas' ...
Movie Trailer: Alex Proyas’ Knowing
Published 7/4/2008 by slashfilm.com at /Film
... IGN has the first trailer for Alex Proyas’ Knowing. My first impression is that the film looks rather generic and boring, which is sad considering how much I am rooting for Proyas. The director gained critical acclaim for his 1998 sci-fi thriller Dark City, but his follow-up efforts (I, Robot and Garage Days) have been pretty uninspired. But in 2004, it was the most seamlessly beautiful f/x spectacle I had ever seen. If there's one thing Proyas can do, it's make one hell of a great-looking movie. By the look of the trailer that debuted at IGN yesterday, Knowing, Proyas's new sci-fi project with Nicolas Cage, ...
Nicolas Cage Knows You Want to Watch the New Trailer for Knowing [First Look]

... Watch the trailer in High Definition over at IGN.com.
Okay, I wasn’t sincere with the “amazing” comment, but I had to be sure you’d watch it. It looks to be another generic thriller along the lines of Cage’s own Next, albeit without the eye-candy of blogger Jessica Biel. A time capsule buried in a schoolyard fifty years ago contains a cryptic note that appears to predict future calamities! As bland as the movie looks, I admit I’m intrigued by the trailer’s last line of dialogue. They could do something interesting ...
