James Marsh's MAN ON WIRE is a fantastic documentary about the French dude that's obsessed with staging tight rope walking hits on famous landmarks, most notably when he walked between the two World Trade Center towers. Marsh is heading back to the feature film world (his first was 2005's THE KING) with a Lionsgate found footage horror movie called THE VATICAN TAPES according to Hollywood Reporter's Borys Kit . The man directing the film is James Marsh who directed the wonderful documentary, Man on Wire, which told the story of Philippe Petit and his walk between New York’s Twin Towers, and won an Oscar. The Vatican Tapes will be his first feature film.
Exorcism’s have always facsinated people so I’m sure people will flock to the theaters to see what a real looking fake excorism looks like. Thoughts?

... came up with. The story comes through The Hollywood Reporter . The film will follow the events after a video is leaked from the Vatican that shows an exorcism going terribly wrong. I presume that the horribly wrong idea is that the actions of the exorcism cause someone to die, and probably in a totally real world way rather than anything supernatural. Still, the story states it's a supernatural thriller, so maybe the exorcism is real and the court case ignores the religious and supernatural aspects. We'll have to wait and see.
