USA Today has up a set visit in Chile where they visited during the filming of Quantum of Solace and inside the second graph they refer to the film as "the first true sequel to a Bond film". Strangely enough I never really thought of it this way, but it is very true. This is the twenty-second film in the franchise and the first true sequel as this film picks up almost immediately after Casino Royale . Interesting, to me at least.
