Whew. That was close, but we made it. No ranks. I guess the majority of this list is respectable, but a few of these sites are not Hip-Hop as far as I’m concerned. If you’re gonna consider those kinds of fringe sites, then just call it an “Urban” or “Negro” list or whatever. You can’t call this a “Hip-Hop” list and then have Sandra Rose and Bossip, let’s be serious. (To be fair, the VIBE list had similar problems). Splash has forgotten more Hip-Hop then some of these people. But I suppose if you’re not gonna rank ...

In their upcoming issue, XXL lists off their Top 100 Hip Hop Websites. And look who is number 2! Just kidding… the list isn’t in order. I guess they didn’t want the whiplash VIBE caught haha. Either way the dopehouse made the list. Of course there is a few sites that leave me scratching my head and how Splash missed the list is beyond me. But overall they got it all covered.
