Joel Madden has surprised girlfriend Nicole Richie with a family weekend vacation in Palm Springs, the Good Charlotte rocker says. Madden, 29, has brought Richie and their 3-month-old daughter Harlow to the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival to chill out. He tells People magazine, "[Nicole] hasn't been able to do a whole lot over the year, so we're having a little family trip."
