500 Days of Summer has picked up a couple of cast members. Thor may be losing it's director. And T4 is going ahead despite the looming threat of an actors strike. Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zooey Deschanel have joined the cast of 500 Days of Summer . The Hollywood Reporter describes the film as an anti romantic comedy: (It's)an examination of a relationship between a woman (Deschanel) who doesn't believe in love and the man (Gordon-Levitt) who falls hopelessly in love with her. Sounds like your average rom-com to me... Matthew Vaughn was attached to the Thor movie but it seems his contract expired in December. It could just be a legal thing ...

Excuse the skepticism, but any movie that bills itself as an “anti-romantic comedy” is either a) a romantic comedy trying to mask its true nature with cynical posturing, or b) way more depressing than funny.
