I've received many requests to start a discussion about Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog today, and it's not for reasons you might expect. The third and final act of the web series went up over the weekend, and some fans aren't happy. Pop reader Juan L. says he felt the finale was "not only terrible, but a stab in the back from Joss Whedon to the fans." And for those who detected the hand of Ben Edlund (The Tick) in the story, Joss confirmed it: Edlund worked on Horrible in the early stages but then "had to drop out." The supervillain Bad Horse was a character Edlund had pitched endlessly for Angel, Whedon's vampire-detective-lawyer show, and the minor bad guy Moist was Edlund's idea as well.
