Karen O's Where the Wild Things Are Soundtrack Details Revealed Spike Jonze's awesome-looking movie adaptation of Maurice Sendak's Where the Wild Things Are opens on October 16, so we won't get to see how it looks until then. But we'll get to hear how the thing sounds a little bit earlier. The movie's soundtrack is due from DGC/Interscope on September 29, and it's credited to Karen O and the Kids, the name that the Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman has given her small army of collaborators.
