In the Practice pilot, Addison said goodbye to Seattle Grace to start a new life and career at the Oceanside Wellness Center in Southern California. I'll watch her in anything, but watching Grey's again is going to be painful. source

Kate Walsh will return to Grey’s Anatomy as Dr. Addison Montgomery for one episode this spring, reports EW. Kate’s freshman show Private Practice is on hiatus until fall, so the redhead will head back to Seattle Grace for a guest appearance! Five all-new episodes of Grey’s Anatomy will start Thurday, April 24.

Addison's back! Private Practice 's extended post-strike hiatus has freed up Kate Walsh to return to her old Grey's Anatomy stomping ground this spring, an ABC spokesperson confirms. The actress will appear in at least one of the five new Grey's episodes slated to begin airing April 24. The story was first reported by EW.com . There's no word if any of Addison's Oceanside Wellness cronies will be following her to Seattle Grace, but I'm guessing not. Damn hospital's too crowded as it is.
