Olympic gold medal skater Kristi Yamaguchi and her dancing partner Mark Ballas took home the coveted mirror-ball trophy on Dancing With the Stars last night on the finale. Kristi’s sixth season win made her the second woman to win on the show, the first being soap star Kelly Monaco on the first season.

Tonight is the Dancing with the Stars finale on ABC. The three remaining couples performed two dance numbers on Monday, May 18, 2009. The trio of remaining couple’s participated in a Paso dance-off and then showed the judges their freestyle.

Nicole Bobek Arrested, Former U.S. Figure Skater (PHOTOS)

Nicole Bobek, a 31-year-old former internationally known figure skater and U.S. Champion in 1995, was charged on July 6, 2009 with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. She was in the upper echelon of a drug trafficking ring that resulted in 19 arrests.
Bobek was extradited from Florida and brought back to Jersey City, New Jersey as a fugitive from justice. In her closed circuit arraignment, she was represented by Sam DeLuca at the Central Judicial Processing Center in Hudson County. Bobeck was dressed in green prison garb - see photos.
