If this theory is true, I believe that this explains why Christian Shephard's body and Claire both went missing on the Island - they were taken during a time jump. I then believe that they were taken way back to the time when Jacob first came to be and so they've been taken in by him as his minions or servants, hence their appearance in his cabin.
What do you think? A little too crazy, or am I on to something?
