As many of you know, it was announced last week that Brett Ratner would no longer be helming the new Conan the Barbarian remake, and many people rejoiced at the news. Well… put the party hats away. In a strange case of irony Nispel was also set to direct the Arnold Schwarzenegger film End of Days in 1998 but he withdrew due to the ever popular reason of “creative differences.”
With a bit of luck Conan will now move forward. It’ll be interesting to see who Nispel gets to wear the loin cloth in the epic film.
