Published 10/12/2008 at OH NO!!
... "Hey dog, what's up? I like your fur... say hey to your mother for me." Wahlberg said of the sketch: Someone showed it to me on YouTube. It wasn't like Tina Fey doing Sarah Palin, that's for sure. And "Saturday Night Live" hasn't been funny for a long time. They've asked me to do the show a ton of times. I used to watch it when Eddie Murphy was there and Joe Piscopo and Bill Murray. I don't even know who's on the show now. Source

Confirmed: Mark Wahlberg Actually Does Talk to Animals
Published 10/17/2008 at Vulture
Photo: WireImage For the past two weeks, Mark Wahlberg has publicly trashed Andy Samberg's expertly ridiculous portrayal of him on October 4's episode of Saturday Night Live, in a skit titled "Mark Wahlberg Talks to Animals." First he slammed the show, claiming it hasn't been funny in years. Then, last night, he told Jimmy Kimmel that the next time he sees Samberg, "I'm going to crack that big fucking nose of his. Then I'm going to tell him, 'Say hi to your mother for me.'" But according to his brother Jim — whom we met ...

What are you guys getting your tampons all tight over?
All the guy said was "It wasn't as funny as I thought it'd be." He even said (on video) that it was funny though. Jeez, you people need to get a life. If not, at least have the decency to pay attention.
And f.y.i. it wasn't funny, unless you find bad imitations of people talking to ANIMALS funny. Which not many people who have a good sense of humor do. You're all just laughing because it was on Saturday Night Live, which USE to be good and are still wanting it to live on in glory and because of Adam Samburg who for some reason went from respectible actor to flat-out joke in one second. Don't get me wrong, I still like him, one skit isn't going to make me change my mind.
But I'm glad Mark is humble enough to take this in stride. He even laughed over it so don't go around thinking he's furious or something. He's not. He likes Adam and is okay with the skit.
