The band were in the country to play the German Sonicsphere festival and to imbibe Mastodon Premium Lager, a limited edition beer created by Stephan Michel of Mahr’s Bräu brewery. Only 200 beers were created, and Metal Hammer reports that the band and crew managed to put away quite a few bottles.
