Oh No They Didn't! — ... in his film is misplaced. Awesome comedy + awesome action = awesome movie. source || Spike Can we just take a moment to ponder the ramifications of a TASER TO THE FACE? I'm totally pre-psyched to see this footage. I'm so in. This movie is going to be amazing if it's anywhere near as good as the comic. And I'm glad they decided to go for the R-rating after all. ETA: And if you're still not sick of reading these summaries, the guys at AICN are jizzing their pants over this, too.

After winning over the Hall H faithful with scenes from his rambunctious, independently financed adaptation of the Mark Millar/John Romita, Jr. graphic novel, Vaughn and his team have struck a deal with Lionsgate to distribute the film theatrically in 2010! This after every studio in town initially passed on the project due to concerns with the R-rated violence, particularly as it is perpetrated by the eleven-year-old costumed killing machine, Hit Girl. There's no word on when in 2010 we'll get to see ...
