We have an update from Kotaku this week on the percolating Metal Gear Solid movie adaptation, and after speaking with Konami’s Aki Saito, it seems that a certain Oscar-nominated director has shown some interest in directing. Who is this mystery man? Why none other than Paul Thomas Anderson ( There Will Be Blood , Boogie Nights ). Can you think of anything more bizarre? I don’t know how or where this rumour started, but it’s gotta be total B.S… right? Maybe someone spoke to P.T. ...
