MGM Slates 'Cabin' For Release a Week Before 'Saw VI'

MGM has slated Drew Goddard's (Cloverfield) latest project, The Cabin in the Woods , for release October 23, 2009, although early announced dates like these rarely stick. In addition, MGM is putting the film out a week before Lionsgate's Saw VI , which will hit theaters on October 30th. I'm not quite sure it's such a good idea to let them go head-to-head as Jigsaw will ruin Goddard's (short) ...
