Marilyn Manson Band Member Brad Stewart aka Gidget Gein Found Dead

Brad Stewart aka Gidget Gein, a former member of Marilyn Manson’s band, was found dead in his Burbank home from an apparent drug overdose on October 9th.
Stewart, 39, was the bassist for Marilyn Manson from 1989 to 1993, when he was replaced by Twiggy Ramirez due to his drug use.
Stewart created the stage name Gidget Gein by combining actress Sally Field’s character (Gidget) from the 60’s television show, with notorious serial killer Ed Gein.

Chris Mims Found Dead

Chris Mims, former lineman for the San Diego Chargers, was found dead in his Los Angeles apartment just before 9:30am this morning.
38-year-old Mims played for the University of Tennessee and was drafted in 1992. He played eight seasons in the NFL, seven for the San Diego Chargers, and one with the Washington Redskins. He retired in 2000.
Police discovered Mims’ body while on a welfare check. He had been suffering from weight and medical problems.
Although the cause of death is unknown, foul play is not expected.

Former New York Knicks coach Isiah Thomas was rushed to the hospital early Friday morning after an overdose on prescription sleeping pills.
Police were called to Thomas’ home in Purchase, New York, after he took roughly 10 Lunesta sleeping pills.
“He was unconscious, but breathing on his own,” according to Harrison Police Chief David Hall.
He was transported to White Plains hospital around midnight, where his stomach was pumped.

Last night a dead body was found in a car just a few houses away from the home of American Idol judge Paula Abdul. The deceased woman was said to be a “big fan” of Paula, according to her parents.
The cause of death is currently being reported by the police as a possible drug overdose/suicide. Whether the woman killed herself because of some fixation for Abdul is unknown. Her proximity to Paula’s home may be more than a mere coincidence.

The first African American supermodel, Naomi Ruth Sims, has died of cancer. The accomplished businesswoman and author died of cancer at the age of 61 in Newark, New Jersey.
