BAD LIEUTENANT: A Werner Herzog Film??
The Moviezzz Blog — Variety reports that Warner Herzog is remaking the Abel Ferrara 1992 film BAD LIEUTENANT. I'm not a fan of the original, but this just has me asking: WHAT????? Herzog doing remakes of films from the last decade? NOSFERATU had forty years before his remake. And BAD was best known for Harvey Keitel's performance. Now they are casting Nicolas Cage instead of him? If this wasn't Variety reporting, I would think someone needed to do some fact checking. Hard to believe.
