Gabby Babble — ... Smith started working at EMI in 1959. Other than being The Beatles' engineer and Pink Floyd's producer he also released his own music under the name Hurricane Smith. In 1971 he released the hit single Don't Let It Die followed by the hit Oh Babe, What Would You Say? the year after. Not many people can say that they worked on both Beatles and Pink Floyd albums.
