Quentin Tarantino Shops Inglorious Bastards Around (UPDATE)
FirstShowing.net — ... Update! As is often the case with news, things can change that quickly. Or, either Nikke Fink or Hollywood Reporter are wrong. THR is reporting today that despite news we brought you to the contrary yesterday, Taratino is, in fact, setting up Inglorious Bastards with the Weinsteins. I Watch Stuff - The Best Movie News Ever — ... trade talk for, "No one will read this boring article about financing unless we add something juicy. Is Brad Pitt still popular? Put his name in there, but only incredibly vaguely hint that he's in the cast so that we can later deny everything." Meanwhile, I hear Clooney's name is also "loitering in the proximity" of the casting sheet, and that Matt Damon's name "drifted past in a fine vapor," while Shia LaBeouf's name was "heard as ghostly echo with no discernible source." Details On Tarantino's Inglorious New Movie
Cinema Blend News — ... going on here. It’s like some sort of Israeli revenge fantasy, and that’s something I can get behind. Jewish-American soldiers get dropped behind enemy lines during WWII. They show up in German occupied France and blow up a movie theater showing Nazi propaganda. It’s a script written by Tarantino, so it’s no surprise the verdict is that it’s pretty good. Since it’s sounding good, you’re probably wondering when you’ll be able to see it. We don’t know.
