NME likes MGMT, British bands in their Top Ten albums of 2008 list

NME has released the top fifth of their albums of the year list on their website, and the results shouldn't surprise anyone who has traipsed by the NME.com in the last 12 months: MGMT's Oracular Spectacular has claimed the top spot. And also unsurprisingly, British bands dominate the list, with Glasvegas, Metronomy, Foals, Friendly Fires and Mystery Jets making the top ten. Plus, you might as well toss in Kings of Leon into that pile, since they're way bigger in the U.K., and the NME loves that band more than any American magazine will ever allow itself to.
