In a weird, roundabout way, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor is a lot like the old “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” Christmas special. Despite having a lot of flaws, a LOT of flaws… THE MUMMY: TOMB OF THE DRAGON EMPEROR succeeds at being pretty much in line with the two prior installments of the MUMMY series… it is, despite everything, goofy fun. Going in you should know that you will be missing Rachel Weisz. The Mummy 3 reviews have shuffled their way online and it looks like this one is cursed. In fact, at time of writing, this could end up being the most universally disliked film of the year. Perhaps the first clue should have been Rachel Weisz deciding not to reprise her role as Evey over issues with the script. She had to be replaced by Maria Bello.
